Pick Me Up is an graphic arts festival that features artists that specialise in illustration to graphic design to print media and 3D. This exhibition was especially beneficial for me since I have a strong interest in graphic design and illustration, so there was a good amount of work there that caught my interest including the work of Thomas Lamadieu- 
His work also has some relevance to mine since he combines different media disciplines (illustration and photography), which is also similar to what I do with my own work outside of college where I usually combine traditional and digital media and sometimes photography-
